Terms of Service

Terms for using ParkYoRide to offer, discover, and reserve private parking spaces.

Acceptance and eligibility

By using ParkYoRide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must have the legal capacity to enter the parking and payment arrangements you make and, if acting for a business or property owner, authority to act for them. Drivers must have any license and authorization required to operate their vehicle. These terms do not override rights that applicable law makes mandatory.

The marketplace

ParkYoRide provides tools for hosts to offer parking and for parkers to discover and reserve it. The host provides access to the listed property; ParkYoRide does not own the listed parking property or take custody of vehicles. Listing amenities and descriptions are host supplied. A listing or payment onboarding status does not guarantee property suitability, host authorization, security, or availability, or mean every host has been independently verified. ParkYoRide does not provide insurance through these terms.

Accounts

Provide accurate account and profile information, keep it current, and protect your credentials. Clerk supplies account authentication and related verification and recovery features. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and should promptly report suspected misuse. Do not impersonate others, share an account to evade restrictions, or claim someone else’s listing, reservation, or payout account.

Host responsibilities

Offer a space only if you own it or have permission and legal authority to provide parking there. Follow applicable zoning, lease, association, business, tax, access, and property rules. Accurately describe the location, size, capacity, permitted vehicles, availability, access instructions, rates, EV charging and other amenities. Keep details current and honor confirmed reservations. Disclose relevant restrictions and hazards. Do not publish unauthorized photos or misleading security or safety claims. You are responsible for lawful operation and maintenance of your property and any charging equipment.

Parker responsibilities

Check the listing, vehicle fit, price, reservation status, access rules, and booked times before parking. Use only the authorized space and follow lawful host instructions. Do not block access, trespass, leave hazardous materials, damage property, or remain beyond your reservation without permission and an appropriate booking. Operate your vehicle and any compatible charging equipment safely. Booking parking does not authorize access to unrelated property or facilities.

Booking and approval

A request or payment screen alone is not a confirmed reservation. Check the final booking status. Instant bookings are confirmed through the successful payment flow. Approval-required bookings hold a payment authorization and await a host decision; the payment is captured when the host approves. A host may decline a request, and unanswered requests may expire. Availability and capacity checks can prevent a booking. Do not occupy a space while approval or payment is pending. Technical errors or inconsistent status should be reported to support before relying on the reservation.

Pricing and platform fees

Hosts set available parking rates. Current backend checkout calculates hourly or daily charges from listing rates and booking times, rounds partial units up, and applies currency rounding. A guest service fee of 15% is added to the parking subtotal. A host fee of 3% is deducted from the listed subtotal for the host allocation. For example, a $100 parking subtotal produces a $115 guest total and a $97 host allocation before any other applicable adjustments. Review the actual checkout amount before paying. EV details or a listed EV fee do not establish that a separate charging purchase has been processed. Fee changes must be reflected in the applicable booking disclosures before purchase.

Payments and Stripe Connect

Stripe processes payments. You authorize the payment or authorization displayed at checkout. Holds, capture, settlement, and bank processing are subject to the payment provider and your financial institution. Hosts must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and maintain an eligible connected account to publish and receive payments through the relevant flow. Funds are routed to that connected account with the platform fee retained. Hosts must provide accurate information to Stripe and comply with applicable Stripe agreements. A booking’s host allocation is not a promise of an immediate bank payout. Stripe eligibility, payout settings, bank processing, refunds, and disputes can affect availability and timing.

Cancellations and refunds

If a host declines an approval request or it expires, the service attempts to cancel the uncaptured payment authorization. Your bank controls when a released hold disappears. This is different from refunding a captured charge. ParkYoRide does not currently provide a general self-service cancellation or refund workflow. Contact support promptly with the booking identifier, dates, reason, and payment status for cancellation, access failures, duplicate charges, or refund questions. A request does not itself cancel a booking or issue a refund. No fixed refund percentage or cancellation deadline is promised here. Applicable consumer rights remain in effect; approved refunds depend on actual payment processing.

Property, vehicle, and parking risks

Hosts and parkers are responsible for their own conduct, property, and vehicles under applicable law. Parking may involve theft, damage, injury, weather, access, equipment, and other risks. Secure your vehicle and belongings and maintain any legally required insurance. Report damage or unsafe conditions promptly and preserve relevant evidence. Camera, lighting, gate, or charging descriptions are not guarantees against loss or harm. In an emergency, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for marketplace support.

Overstays, towing, and removal

Do not overstay or park outside the authorized area. Hosts must follow applicable law, required notices, property permissions, and lawful procedures for any towing or removal. A booking, these terms, or a missed departure time is not independent authorization to tow, immobilize a vehicle, or impose undisclosed charges. ParkYoRide does not operate a towing service. Contact support about a booking dispute and the relevant local authority or towing operator about an actual removal.

Prohibited conduct

Do not commit fraud, discriminate unlawfully, harass or threaten others, post unlawful content, misrepresent a space or vehicle, misuse personal information, interfere with service security, bypass ownership or payment controls, or manipulate reservations and availability. Do not use the service for unlawful storage, vehicle abandonment, or unauthorized property access. Do not scrape personal information or use the platform to spam users.

User content and intellectual property

You retain rights in content you upload. You grant ParkYoRide permission to store, host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate and promote your listing and provide the service. You must have the necessary rights and permissions, including for people or property shown in photos. Requests to remove content can be sent to support; legal or transactional records may remain where required. ParkYoRide branding, interface, and other platform materials belong to their respective rights holders. Do not copy or use them beyond authorized use of the service.

Availability, suspension, and termination

Service features may change or become unavailable because of maintenance, third-party outages, technical errors, or other circumstances. ParkYoRide may restrict accounts, listings, or activity when needed to investigate misuse, protect users, satisfy legal obligations, or address violations of these terms. Existing booking and payment obligations do not automatically disappear when access ends. Contact support to ask about a restriction or unresolved reservation.

Account deletion

Account and data deletion questions should be sent to support@parkyoride.com. The current host-profile deletion control checks unresolved host bookings, hides listings, clears the local profile session, and may send an external deletion request. It does not demonstrate complete deletion of authentication, backend, booking, or image records. Signing out or uninstalling the app is also different from deleting those records. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, successful earnings, property suitability, or the conduct of other users. ParkYoRide is not responsible for losses solely caused by a host’s or parker’s independent acts, inaccurate host content, or a third-party service outside its control. To the extent permitted by law, ParkYoRide excludes liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including any applicable mandatory consumer protections.

Responsibility for claims

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify ParkYoRide for third-party claims and reasonable associated costs arising from your unlawful conduct, unauthorized property offering, infringement through your content, or material violation of these terms. This does not apply to claims caused by ParkYoRide’s own conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be shifted to you.

Disputes and contact

Contact support@parkyoride.com with your account email and booking or listing identifier to raise a dispute. Explain what happened and provide relevant evidence without sending sensitive payment credentials. Hosts and parkers should cooperate with legitimate investigations and use applicable payment-provider dispute channels where appropriate. These terms do not require arbitration, waive statutory remedies, or designate an exclusive court or governing jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Review the terms and booking disclosures applicable when making a new reservation. Changes do not remove mandatory rights or retrospectively authorize undisclosed charges.
